How to Use Remote Lock on a SkyLink ATOMS Wall Console
Slide the Remote Lock switch on the SkyLink Deluxe wall console to the lock position and the opener ignores every remote and the keypad. The wired button on the console still works. Slide it back to unlock. The opener flashes its light 3 times when a remote is pressed while the lock is on.
- Works for:
- SkyLink ATOMS openers with the WB-350 Deluxe wall console. The WB-550 LCD console on ATOMS+ models has Remote Lock as well as a scheduled Time Lock that blocks wireless controls during a set window.

Before you start
- Nothing. The switch is on the wall console.
Step by step
Step 1: Find the Remote Lock slide switch on the Deluxe wall console.
Step 2: Slide it to the lock position. From now on no remote and no keypad can run the door. The console's own button still opens and closes it.
Step 3: If someone presses a remote while the lock is on, the opener's light flashes 3 times and the door stays put. That's SkyLink's code for lock mode, not a fault.
Step 4: Slide the switch back to the unlock position and the remotes and keypad work again.
Step 5: LCD console (ATOMS+): use the Time Lock setting to block all wireless controls during a preset interval, such as overnight. The programming steps are in the console's own instructions.
Still not working? Here is what it usually is.
- The remote lights and the opener flashes 3 times. The lock is on. Slide it to unlock.
- The lock is off, the light doesn't flash, and the remote still does nothing. Replace the battery with the battery guide, then re-pair it with the remote guide.
- The light flashes a different number of times. That's a different fault; the SkyLink codes guide lists them.

Common Questions
Can I lock the opener from the Orbit Home app?
- SkyLink's manual doesn't document a lock or vacation mode in the app. The lock lives on the wall console, and the Time Lock on the LCD console is the scheduled version.
Does the keypad work while Remote Lock is on?
- No. SkyLink's lock blocks every wireless control, remotes and keypad alike. Only the wired console button works.
I lost a remote. Is lock mode enough?
- It blocks the lost remote, but it blocks yours too. The better fix is to erase every remote and re-pair the ones you still have, which takes a minute with the erase guide.
